About Daily Affirm
Who makes this
Daily Affirm is made by Roman Samoilenko, an independent software developer, under the studio name TidyBit. It’s a one-person project: the same person designs, builds and maintains the app on both platforms — there is no team, no growth department and no content farm behind it.
The app is listed as Daily Affirmations: Widget on the App Store and Google Play, and this site — dailyaffirm.app — is its only official website.
The two store listings show different developer names for the same app. Google Play lists the developer as TidyBit; the App Store lists Roman Samoilenko, because Apple displays the legal name of the account holder on individual developer accounts. The iOS and Android versions of Daily Affirm are the same app from the same developer.
What Daily Affirm is
Daily Affirm is a free iOS and Android app that puts one affirmation on your home screen through a native widget, once a day or a few times a day inside hours you choose. Each of the eighteen supported languages has its own original library of 1,190 affirmations across seventeen categories — written for that language and reviewed line by line, never translated word for word. Everything works fully offline: the affirmations live on your device, nothing is fetched from a server, and there is no account or sign-in.
The app is free to use. A single one-time purchase — never a subscription — unlocks every widget theme and category, removes banner ads, and adds the ability to write affirmations of your own and design widget themes of your own: any background color or photo, your fonts and colors.
How the affirmations are written
Every line in every language is written with care. Each language library is written for that language — not a word-for-word translation of the English one — and reviewed line by line for tone, grammar and cultural fit. The same standard applies to the free affirmation collections published on this site: the lines you see there are the same ones that ship in the app.
Editorial responsibility
Roman Samoilenko is the author and editor responsible for the content on this website, including the affirmations collections. Corrections, questions and feedback are welcome at support@dailyaffirm.app.
Affirmations are short statements of encouragement. They are not medical or mental-health advice, and Daily Affirm is not a therapy or crisis product — if you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional or a local helpline.
