Who makes this
Daily Affirm is made by Roman Samoilenko, an independent software developer, under the studio name TidyBit. It’s a one-person project: the same person designs, builds and maintains the app on both platforms — there is no team, no growth department and no content farm behind it.
The app is listed as Daily Affirmations: Widget on the App Store and Google Play, and this site — dailyaffirm.app — is its only official website.
What Daily Affirm is
Daily Affirm is a free iOS and Android app that puts one hand-written affirmation on your home screen every day, through a native widget. Each of the seventeen supported languages has its own original library of 1,050 affirmations across fifteen themes — written natively by a person and reviewed line by line, never machine-translated. Everything works fully offline: the affirmations live on your device, nothing is fetched from a server, and there is no account or sign-in.
The app is free to use. A single one-time purchase — never a subscription — unlocks every theme and category, removes banner ads, and adds the ability to write affirmations of your own and design widget themes of your own: any background color or photo, your fonts and colors.
How the affirmations are written
Every line in every language is written and curated by a person. Each language library is an original work in that language — not a translation of the English one — reviewed line by line for tone, grammar and cultural fit. The same standard applies to the free affirmation collections published on this site: the lines you see there are the same ones that ship in the app.
